Comments: I’m not really into young adult books, but this was a very good book. I felt it could have had more descriptions to help picture the scenes, but still did a good job. The characters were done well so the reader was enveloped into their lives. I liked how Micheal Vey supposedly had tourette syndrome, but it only seemed to come out when he held back his power. It was the typical good vs evil using the rich and powerful as the bad guys. The corporation started off wanting to help save lives and of course make money, then they wanted to take over the world. You felt sorry for the good guys and wanted the bad guys to be punished.
IMO a book is supposed to entertain and enthrall you. If you can easily put it down then it’s not worth reading, Michael Vey was hard to put down. All in all this is a good book and I would recommend it for all ages, but mostly for the YA crowd.
